I’ve always had a thing about constellations, the moon, and the night sky.
This had to be the first.
“Shoot for the Stars” was a part of the LUSH “Christmas Bathtime Favorites” set my SO gifted me.
(That’s why it’s covered in miscellaneous glitter and pink powder; they’ve been snuggling all together)
This has bergamot and Brazilian orange oil, but it doesn’t smell too citrusy. It had a more toffee-floral scent, if that makes sense. Very small hint of citrus.
It leaves your skin smelling like “Honey I Washed the Kids” and “Honey Bee.”
Watch it go:
Much like Lush Dragon’s Egg, this one goes fast. It spews and gushes blue until it leaves behind three golden stars that melts into pretty glitter goo you can smear on your skin.
I’m sad my lackluster bathroom light tinted the whole shot. Thankfully, even with the yellowish tinge, you can tell how deep the colors are. Deep sea blue.
Here’s a color-corrected version, though it still doesn’t do this bomb justice.
In the right bottom corner, you can see the leftover stars.
When you smoosh the leftover stars, you get this golden glitter goo that feels just like a rice-powder scrub, grainy and slick.
After bath. If you look closely, you can see residue glitter sparkling on the surface.
I hope they release this again. It’s too good not to.
PS: if you have dry skin, don’t skip the lotion after this bomb. Some bath bombs are moisturizing enough for me to go without, but this one will leave your skin dry after awhile. Not too lasting. But the scent lingers.
