Price: $59
(bought during Sephora 20% off, which brought it down to: $47.2)
This was the first GlamGlow product I bought out of my own pocket. I’ve only encountered this brand through samples, subscription DS, and the one cleanser I was gifted a million years ago. It’s pricey. So when I received a sample of DreamDuo, I was all set to use it up and forget about it.
But alas, I really liked it.
This is a two-parter mask. There’s a step 1 and step 2, each of which uses different portions of the mask.
There’s “Dream Serum = Step 1” and “Dream Seal = Step 2.”
Why hello you sexy expensive thing.
Not that big, considering what you paid for.
There’s only 0.68oz (20ml) of each treatment.
Pretty. Very chrome.
DreamDuo is a night treatment.
Step 1: Apply DREAM SERUM (pearl) evenly on clean face and let absorb into skin for about 30 seconds.
Step 2: Follow with DREAM SEAL (gray)
A plastic cover for sanitary reasons.
Left (pearl) is DREAM SERUM, right (gray) is DREAM SEAL. (Don’t know why I’m capitalizing; I’m being led astray by the descriptions on the box.)
DREAMSERUM (pearl) is a melt-in face serum that infuses antiaging antioxidants into the skin, while supercharged essential vitamins support an even, flawless complexion.
DREAMSEAL (gray) is a nourishing moisture boost of hyaluronic acid and mozuku green algae that plumps and recharges skin’s glow.
DREAM SERUM feels like a mildly sticky gel. It glides around but is absorbed pretty quickly. Smells strongly of orange creamsicle and toffee.
DREAM SEAL is tackier, a bit more cream-like than the pearl serum. It takes longer to absorb but once it’s absorbed, my skin doesn’t feel tacky.
The fragrance lingers, so if you’re sensitive to scent, avoid this product. I personally like the creamsicle scent.
My skin remains moisturized and non-dry/non-flaky in the morning now. I do think it’s pricey for what you get, so I may only use this in the harsher winter months where nothing else really helps.
Interestingly enough, this doesn’t feel hydrating upon application. I’m surprised it lasts so well over the night.
PS: This is a treatment by the way, so it wouldn’t really work as a makeup moisturizer. It’s too tacky!
